Hi. I'm Susan Gosine a freelance writer based in New York. After 20 years of working in the newspaper industry and amassing a wealth of experience as a senior journalist at three daily publications I opted for freelancing. My work involves indept investigative pieces on a range of topics from health and education, crime and punishment, fashion and entertainment among others. I am also working on my first nonfiction novel.
Sitting smugly on my wall of achievement is a collection of awards I've won for excellence in journalism . I am the winner of the 1998 Commonwealth Media Award (Fletcher Challenge Paper) for all-round excellence in a portfolio of published works. Plaques from PLIPDECO and Mere Desh for excellence in Journalism. Three citations for distinguished performance in Journalism from the Daily Express Newspaper.
